Connectrix DS-6610B 32G FC SAN Switch

Overview

The Connectrix DS-6610B is a 24-port, 32 Gb/s Fibre Channel SAN switch in a 1U form factor, designed to support the SAN requirements of small and medium-sized environments with high performance and economy. All models operate at 4, 8, 16 or 32 Gb/s depending on the installed optic, and the switch is managed by Connectrix B-Series SANnav.

Port Configuration

• Form factor: 1U, installable in a standard 19-inch EIA rack

The 1U base chassis is pre-populated with eight 16Gb/s or 32Gb/s Fibre Channel SFP+ shortwave optics, and Ports on Demand kits allow expansion in 8-port increments. Enterprise models come fully populated with 24 16Gb/s or 32Gb/s SFPs and include the Enterprise Package

• Detail: The DS-6610B-L base chassis includes eight active 32Gb/s-capable ports populated with eight 16Gb/s or eight 32Gb/s SFPs. The 8-port Ports on Demand kits allow the switch to support an additional 16 ports, reaching a maximum of 24 ports.
