The Dell PowerVault MD2424 is a 2U JBOD enclosure purpose-built for PowerEdge direct-attached storage. Directly attaching PowerVault MD enclosures to previous and new PowerEdge generations simplifies server capacity expansion and ensures applications get high-speed access to their data without compromise. It is the performance-optimised option, adding 24 x 2.5-inch drive bays in 2U for 10K HDD and SAS SSD mixes.
