PowerVault ME412 2U Expansion Enclosure Overview
The Dell ME412 is a 2U expansion enclosure for PowerVault ME4 Series SAN/DAS storage,
adding 12 x 3.5-inch drive bays (12 Gb SAS) to an ME4 system over a 12 Gb SAS expansion protocol. Attaches to PowerVault ME4012 or ME4024 base arrays only. The ME4 Series is
purpose-built for price-sensitive SAN and DAS environments, with dual storage processors, an
all-inclusive software model and a full 12 Gb SAS back end. It scales to 4 PB of raw capacity and is
highly aligned with Dell PowerEdge servers.
