Connectrix MP-7810B SAN Extension Switch

Overview

The Connectrix MP-7810B is an entry-level 1U multi-protocol SAN extension switch that combines Fibre Channel switching and routing with hardware-assisted IP Extension and Fibre Channel over IP (FCIP) traffic forwarding over IP wide area networks. It provides 12 x 32Gb/s Fibre Channel ports and 6 x 1/10GbE SFP+ ports, with a maximum WAN bandwidth of 2.5 Gbps, making it the lower-cost option in the Connectrix B-Series extension portfolio for smaller replication and backup links.
