The Dell PowerVault MD2412 is a 2U JBOD enclosure purpose-built for PowerEdge direct-attached storage. Directly attaching PowerVault MD enclosures to previous and new PowerEdge generations simplifies server capacity expansion and ensures applications get high-speed access to their data without compromise. It is the low-cost dense option for PowerEdge direct-attached storage, adding 12 x 3.5-inch drive bays in 2U.
