The Dell ME484 is a 5U expansion enclosure for PowerVault ME4 Series SAN/DAS storage,
adding 84 x 3.5-inch drive bays (12 Gb SAS); also available as JBOD to an ME4 system over a 12 Gb SAS expansion protocol. Supported behind any PowerVault ME4 base array. The ME4 Series is
purpose-built for price-sensitive SAN and DAS environments, with dual storage processors, an
all-inclusive software model and a full 12 Gb SAS back end. It scales to 4 PB of raw capacity and is
highly aligned with Dell PowerEdge servers.
