When to choose this storage system

Choose it for unified block, file and container workloads. A 2U enclosure with dual active/active nodes and a 5:1 DRR guarantee data-reduction guarantee makes it suited to consolidation, and it scales to 24.64 PBe across a cluster of up to four appliances.

Reading the specifications

capacity and controller count set the usable scale and performance headroom; memory and processing power drive cache and metadata performance; supported protocols decide which hosts and applications can attach; media type (NVMe TLC/QLC) sets the latency and cost profile; data-reduction, protection and security features set the resilience level.

Platform & compatibility

Front-end block access is over FC, NVMe/FC, iSCSI, NVMe/TCP and file access over NFSv3, NFSv4, NFSv4.1, NFSv4.2; CIFS (SMB 1), SMB 2, SMB 3.0, SMB 3.02, and SMB 3.1.1; FTP and SFTP; connectivity includes Max network ports: 24; Max 16/32Gb FC ports: 16; Max 10GBase-T/iSCSI ports: 16; Max 10/25 GBE/iSCSI ports: 24. Confirm the host OS, protocol, capacity and controller configuration for your environment before ordering.
